Girls, Girls, Girls

Quick Turn-around

My machine went to be serviced and I got it back in less than 24 hours. I was expecting a few days off so I could clean my house. Oh well...back to work (-;

Why was LaBarrie Littles created?

LaBarrie Littles was born out of my desire to clothe my daughters in cute, age appropriate clothing. As my oldest daughter got older & taller, I found it difficult to find her cute clothing (it's amazing the clothes they sell for little girls these days). She leaped out of toddler sizes and was wearing a girls medium at 4 years old. I want my girls to be and look like sweet, LITTLE girls as long as possible.

The gifts I treasured most were ones that were embroidered or monogrammed with my daugther's  names on them. It was surreal to see the name that I gave another human being on something they could wear/keep forever. I first began giving gifts that I was able to have monogrammed from a cute boutique while living in Greenvile, NC. I then hand appliqued shirts and gave them as gifts to my friends' children. I now love to embroider and applique anything I can get on my machine. I love creating cute personalized items for kids. In addition to tees and baby keepsakes I intend to make coordinating clothing for boys and girls.

My three daughters are my true inspiration. I am so thankful that God blessed me and entrusted me to be a mother. I hope you enjoy my work and will come on this journey with me.

Review from Precious Hair Clips

"I received this little T-shirt for my little girl from LaBarrie Littles. LaBarri...e makes Personalized Tees for Kids, Onesies, Burp Cloths & Bibs. I was so excited to show this shirt that I just took a picture of it --my daughter is sleeping :) It is the cutest thing. It is personalized with my daughters initial. I LOVE IT!! The embroidery is made so well. There are no hanging strings. The letter is soft and the inside of the shirt has a patch to prevent itching on the skin. The shirt's quality is great as well, it is 100% cotton and soft. Perfect for my little one. My daughter will be wearing her Personalized T-shirt for Easter's Egg hunt. La Barrie Littles is also so great to work with :) Visit her Blog to learn more about her and what she does :) "

Easter is coming!

Bunny Letter
Bunny in a Pickup

This week I have participated in a few Blog Hops and have been inspired to blog more. I never knew there was a whole world out there of bloggers and tweeters about such relevant information for me as a mom. I am overwhelmed. I have to make myself close the computer at night. There are so many great resources. From saving tips, preschool education, kid music and learning applications, stay at home moms (SAHM), work at home moms (WAHM)...the list is endless.

I created my blog to promote my passion for making applique clothing for kids. I have 3 beautiful, wild little girls. Okay well the  youngest (5 months) isn't wild yet. But I can only assume. My oldest is 5 years old and she is tall big for her age. At 3 she was on to kids' sizes no more toddlers for her. And the clothes I saw were way too sassy for my little "Punky." I want my little girls to LOOK like little girls.

So LaBarrie Littles was born!
