Introducing LaBarrie Littles

This is LaBarrie Littles first blog post. I am so excited to be introducing myself & my personalized too cute shirts. My inspirations are my 3 beautiful & wonderful little girls. Children are truly God' gift to us all.

The gifts I treasured most were ones that had my children's names on them, whether it was clothes or baby keepsakes. It was surreal to see a name that I gave another human being on something they could wear/keep forever. I began giving gifts that I was able to have monogrammed at a cute boutique while living in Greenvile, NC.
I then began giving gifts of hand appliqued shirts for birthdays of my friends children. At the time I didn't even know it was called applique.

The turning point came when I asked my wonderful Aunt Gina if she could give me some pointers on purchasing an embroidery machine. She said "you know what Esh, I have one that I will give you" Oh my goodness I was so excited. So to you Aunt Gina, you have made all the difference to me and deserve the credit for inspiring me as well as starting me on this journey.

As my oldest daughter got older & taller, I started to find it difficult to find her cute age appropriate clothing (it's amazing the clothes they sell for little girls these days). She leaped out of toddler sizes and was wearing a girls medium at 4 years old.

In addition to shirts I want to make coordinating pants & dresses. I want my girls to be and look like little girls as long as possible.

The boys have to be just as cute as the girls, so I will definitely have designs for them as well!

Now that I've told you my story and how I got to today. I hope you love the shirts as much as I did making them.

Thank you for the support of my husband, mother and dearest friends. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.
